On August 16, 2015, ITEMM was featured on JC Online (www.jconline.com.br<\/a>), with content entitled “Future Batteries are born from the Belo Jardim Technology Center”.<\/p>\n

Spartacus Pedrosa, executive manager of ITEMM, told JC online the main challenges faced by the team of researchers in the energy storage industry. One of these challenges is to develop a battery for use in a photovoltaic power system, which requires a larger size and capability of giving stability to the system and providing power for up to four days.
